Biografia:
Architetto e designer, vive e lavora a Milano. Ha disegnato prodotti per: Olivetti, Philips, Artemide, Alessi, Serafino Zani, Matsushita, Deborah Group. Nel 1999 fonda Fragile, studio multidisciplinare di Corporate Identity Care®, in cui affianca al suo lavoro come designer il progetto di sistemi di identità per aziende e istituzioni internazionali primo fra tutti il marchio di Poste Italiane. Tra i premi internazionali conseguiti lo Smau Industrial Design Award 1989, per uno dei progetti realizzati con Olivetti e il Good Design Award nel 2007 per il design del packaging della linea Skin Care di Bioetyc. Con Fragile ha ricevuto due Red Dot Communication 2008, rispettivamente per la grafica della mostra Architettura e Società della X Biennale di Architettura di Venezia e per gli alfabeti visivi della lunga collaborazione con Alias, gruppo Poltrona Frau.
Biography:
Architect and designer Mario Trimarchi lives and works in Milan. He has designed products for Olivetti, Philips, Artemide, Alessi, Serafino Zani, Matsushita and the Deborah Group. In 1999, he founded Fragile, his multidisciplinary Milan-based practice delivering Corporate Identity Care® and designing identity systems for international companies and institutions (their major client is the Poste Italiane brand). His designs have received several international prizes, including the 1989 Smau Industrial Design Award for one of his Olivetti projects and the Good Design Award 2007 for his Bioetyc skin-care packaging design. Most recently, with Fragile, he received the Red Dot Communication Award in 2008 for the graphic design of the Architecture and Society exhibition at the 10th Venice Architecture Biennale and for the visual alphabets designed as part of a long-running collaboration with Alias (Poltrona Frau Group).
