Biografia:
Nato nel 1954, Claudio Silvestrin ha studiato sotto la guida di A. G. Fronzoni a Milano e alla Architectural Association a Londra, dove vive e lavora. La Claudio Silvestrin Architects fu fondata nel 1989 con uffici a Londra e, dal 2006, anche a Milano. Il lavoro dello studio comprende complessi residenziali, case e resorts per residenza privata, gallerie d’arte e musei, arredamento d’interni per negozi ed abitazioni private e design di mobili. I suoi clienti includono Giorgio Armani, illycaffé, Anish Kapoor, Calvin Klein, Poltrona Frau, Victoria Miro, la Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo e il produttore e artista hip hop Kanye West. Ha ricevuto numerosi premi tra cui la Medaglia dOro per l’architettura italiana alla Triennale di Milano,il Wallpaper Magazine Design Awards,il Chicago Athenaeum International Architectural Award.

Biography:
Born in 1954, Claudio Silvestrin studied under A. G. Fronzoni in Milan and at the Architectural Association in London, where he lives and has his practice. Claudio Silvestrin Architects was established in 1989 with offices in London and (since 2006) Milan. The work of the practice encompasses real estate developments, newly built houses, private residential resorts, art galleries and museums, as well as domestic and retail interiors and furniture design. Clients include Giorgio Armani, illycaffé, Anish Kapoor, Calvin Klein, Poltrona Frau, Victoria Miro, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and the hip-hop artist and producer Kanye West. Silvestrin has received various awards, including the Gold Medal award for Italian Architecture at the Triennale in Milan, the Wallpaper Magazine Design Award and the Chicago Athenaeum International Architectural Award.
