Ora-Ïto è lo pseudonimo e il marchio del designer francese che all’età di 19 anni ha creato il primissimo brand digitale. Nato nel 1977, è divenuto famoso alla fine degli anni Novanta rielaborando in 3D i prodotti dei più noti marchi internazionali come Louis Vuitton, Apple, Nike e Bic. Nel 2000, Ora-Ïto si è dedicato alla creazione di prodotti reali, sviluppando progetti trasversali a diversi settori disciplinari tra cui il design, l’architettura e la comunicazione. Nel 2002, ha ricevuto l’Oscar Prize per il miglior design con la bottiglia Heineken e la sua originale soluzione di packaging. Il suo primo progetto di lampada One Line, disegnato per Artemide, è stato premiato con il Red Dot Design Award. Tra i suoi clienti vi sono Adidas, il gruppo AIR, Thierry Mugler, Toyota, Biotherm, Levi's, Davidoff, Nike, Danone, Kenzo, LG Electronics, Guerlain, Ballantine's, L'Oréal Professionnal, Sagem, Habitat or Christofle, Zanotta, Cappellini, Artemide, B&B Italia, Frighetto. Biography:
Ora-Ïto is both the label and the name of the French designer who, at the age of 19, created the very first virtual brand. Born in 1977, he became famous at the end of the '90s by '3D-hijacking' the products of the most emblematic international brands such as Vuitton, Apple, Nike and Bic. In the year 2000 Ora-Ïto dedicated himself to the creation of real products, developing transversal designs across a range of sectors, including design, architecture and communication. In 2002, he received the 'Oscar' Prize for Best Design for his aluminium Heineken bottle and his original packaging solution. His first lamp – One Line, which he designed for Artemide – was crowned with a Red Dot Design Award. His clients include Adidas, the AIR Group, Thierry Mugler, Toyota, Biotherm, Levi's, Davidoff, Nike, Danone, Kenzo, LG electronics, Guerlain, Ballantine's, L'Oréal Professionnal, Sagem, Habitat, Christofle, Zanotta, Cappellini, Artemide, B&B Italia and Frighetto. His works are included in the permanent collections of the world's major museums.
