Biografia:
Fonda il suo principale interesse nella forma, esplorata inizialmente all’università di Tasmania, con un approccio progressivamente incline al digitale sviluppato alla Scuola di Design di Rhode Island. Dopo aver lavorato per aziende leaders a New York, ha aperto il suo studio a Londra dove applica il suo design fluido e uniforme a oggetti prodotti sia in serie che come pezzi unici. L’approccio innovativo di Brodie ha avuto come risultato la realizzazione di pezzi noti come E-turn (Kundalini) e @ Chair, recentemente inclusa nella lista degli oggetti di design più significativi del 2008 dal Time Magazine. Altri ogetti che hanno ricevuto ampi consensi sono la chaise longue Remix e la sedia Reverb (The Apartment Gallery London), due progetti innovativi che fondono l’attenzione alla forma fisica con tecnologie all’avanguardia. I continui sforzi creativi di Neill lo portano a collaborare con il provocatorio stilista Alexander McQueen per l’ ICF di New York nel 2009. Presente in un vasto numero di esposizioni, Brodie ha vinto vari premi internazionali.

Biography:
Brodie Neill merges his underlying interest in form, first explored at the University of Tasmania, with a progressive digital approach developed during a Masters degree at the Rhode Island School of Design. After a stint working for top brands in New York, Brodie established his current studio in London, where he applies his seamless, fluid-like designs to a range of objects from production items to special-edition pieces. Neill's progressive approach has resulted in the much-celebrated design E-turn (Kundalini) and the @ Chair, a design recently included in Time Magazine's Most Influential Designs 2008. Other projects of acclaim are the Remix chaise longue and the Reverb chair (The Apartment Gallery, London), both progressive designs that fuse material form with advanced technologies. Neill’s continuous creative endeavours led to the partnering with fashion maverick Alexander McQueen for ICF New York in 2009. With an extensive record of international exhibitions, he has won several international design awards.
