Biografia:
Dante Donegani è nato a Pinzolo (Trento) nel 1957 e si laurea in Architettura a Firenze nel 1983. Lavora dal 1987 al 1991 nella Corporate Identity Olivetti. Giovanni Lauda è nato nel 1956 a Napoli, dove si laurea in Architettura e ha fatto parte dal 1988 al 1991 dello studio Morozzi & Partners. Nel 1992 aprono il loro studio D&L a Milano. Lavorano insieme in diversi settori della progettazione operando per varie aziende: Luceplan, Edra, Radice, Viceversa, Rotaliana. Svolgono attività didattica presso la Domus Academy. Nel 2001 hanno curato la mostra Italy-Japan: Design come stile di vita, allestita a Kobe e Yokohama e nel 2004 hanno esposto alcuni lavori alla Biennale di Architettura di Venezia. I loro progetti sono stati esposti in musei quali il Design Museum di Londra, il Centre Pompidou e il Vitra Design Museum. La chaise longue Passepartout prodotta da Edra, è entrata nelle collezioni permanenti della Triennale di Milano e del MOMA di San Francisco.

Dante Donegani was born in Pinzolo (Trento) in 1957, and graduated in Architecture in Florence in 1983. From 1987 to 1991, he worked for Olivetti, specialising in the design of the company's corporate identity. Giovanni Lauda was born in 1956 in Naples, where he graduated in Architecture and subsequently worked at the Morozzi & Partners practice. In 1992, they opened their own practice – D & L –in Milan. They work together in different fields of design on behalf of various companies, including Luceplan, Edra, Radice, Viceversa and Rotaliana, and also lecture at the Domus Academy. In 2001, they curated the exhibition entitled Italy-Japan: Design come stile di vita, which was staged in Kobe and Yokohama, and in 2004 they exhibited a number of works at the Architecture Biennale in Venice. Their works have been shown in numerous museums, including the Design Museum in London, the Centre Pompidou and the Vitra Design Museum. Their Passepartout chaise longue, manufactured by Edra, has been added to the permanent collections of the Triennale in Milan and MOMA in San Francisco.
